1. Who We Are

AdvaySnapTik ("the Service", "we", "us") is a web-based TikTok media downloader operated by Advay, an independent developer. The Service is part of the AdvaySocialSuite portfolio.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials
• Your IP address in any persistent form (transient only, for rate limiting)
• The TikTok URLs you submit (they are processed and discarded immediately)
• Your device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Browser history or browsing behaviour beyond the current session

3. Information That Is Handled Transiently

When you submit a TikTok URL for processing, the following occurs on our server:

• Your IP address is read momentarily to enforce rate limiting (max 30 requests/minute). It is not logged or stored.
• The TikTok URL is forwarded to a third-party extraction service (TikWM) to retrieve media metadata and download URLs. No personal data is included in this request.
• Standard HTTP server logs (request method, path, response code, timestamp) may be retained briefly for debugging purposes. These do not include your submitted URLs.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage solely to remember your theme preference (dark/light mode) across visits. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by us.

We do not use tracking cookies, session cookies, or any analytics cookies.

5. Third-Party Services & Advertising

AdvaySnapTik displays advertisements to support the free service. Our ad partners may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. We use the following third-party ad networks:

We also fetch content via TikWM API (api.tikwm.com) — a third-party service that retrieves TikTok media URLs. Your submitted TikTok URL is shared with this service solely for media extraction. TikWM's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

We do not participate in targeted advertising, sell your data to advertisers, or share personal information with any third party for commercial gain.

6. Push Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the Service may send you browser push notifications about your download status or new features. These notifications are delivered via your browser's built-in push infrastructure. We do not store push subscription tokens on any backend server. You can revoke notification permission at any time through your browser settings.

7. Progressive Web App (PWA)

AdvaySnapTik is installable as a PWA. If installed, the app uses a Service Worker to cache static assets for offline use. This cache resides entirely on your device. No user data is cached.

8. Children's Privacy

AdvaySnapTik is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly process data from children. If you believe a child has used the service in a way that requires attention, please contact us.

9. Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to delete or retain beyond the transient server log entries described in Section 3.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. As we hold no personal data, these rights are satisfied by default. For any enquiries, contact us at the address in Section 1.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction in which the operator resides. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance.
